Director Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance Directorate of the Sigalagala National Polytechnic is tasked with the following functions;
• Implement Quality Assurance standards
• Monitoring and evaluation of curriculum implementation.
• Conduct surveys on curriculum implementation process
• Provide quality assurance checks on teaching, examinations, co-curricular activities.
• Collect customer views that help inform the polytechnic on quality of services to customers
• Analysis of records used in teacher management and curriculum implementation.
• Advice polytechnic management on training needs assessment/equipment / infrastructural needs.

The directorate provides data that helps the institution in monitoring the performance against set standards to ensure that the customers are satisfied and that teamwork is embraced to provide excellent services to our customers. SNP offers quality products that meet needs and is committed to continual improvement. The department ensures continuous improvement by addressing deviations and complaints promptly through effective monitoring of curricular implementation.
SNP is strategically located in a sub-urban area along Kisumu-Kakamega road only 11 kms from Kakamega town. This setup provides a conducive environment for learning environment without hardship and distractions.
