Examinations department is an integral unit of the institution as its functions revolve around attainment of academic excellence and integrity. It is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that the following functions are performed efficiently;
- Management of internal examination.
- Registration of candidates for external examination (ICM, KNEC, TVET, CDACC ,NITA ,KASNEB, HRPEB)
- Issuance of Exams cards.
- Exams
- Exam results analysis
The department has managed to streamline exams registration process that covers receiving of documents, signing and confirmation of authenticity and preparation of the nominal roll for registration.
SNP offers opportunity to all trainers, trainees and non-teaching staff to attempt exams in areas of interest such as ICM,KASNEB ,HRMPEB, KNEC, NITA, and CDACC and advocate for open door policy with our clients.

Those applying for Diploma courses please note that the minimum entry qualification is a KCSE Mean grade of C-(Minus) while those applying for Craft Certificate the Minimum entry qualification is a KCSE Mean grade of D Plain. Those who wish to apply for Artisan Courses the minimum qualification is KCPE/KCSE Mean grade of D-(Minus).
An application fee of KES. 500 is charged and is to be paid to The Sigalagala Polytechnic through MPESA Paybill.
After successful submission and subsequent processing, your Admission Letter will be emailed to you (ensure you have a valid email address).
Read the forms carefully before filling your details and ensure you bring all the filled forms with you on the day of admission.

The November KNEC examination series began with the business cohort that started their examinations on the 22nd November 2021. A total of 4883 students are yet to sit their examination ending on 3rd December 2021. All their best in their examinations.
