The role of the Business department is to provide quality and inclusive education and training, to continuously improve the departmental research and innovation capacities for alignment with industry and to plan for departmental activities through preparation of budgets and work plans.

The Business department is committed to production of knowledgeable and skilled personnel that fit in the global market through offering courses leading to award of Higher National Diploma, Diploma and Craft Certificates in the following areas: Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Business Management, Accountancy, Project Management, Community and Social Work Development,and Road Transport and Management.
The department offers demand-driven courses in Competency Based Education and Training (CBET) and degree courses in collaboration with specific universities. So far the department has witnessed high student enrollment due to high quality in service delivery.
SNP is flexible in its training programmes offering full time, part time, weekend, evening and holiday courses to cater for the diverse interests of the population.At SNP “We lead, others follow.” -Apart from imparting skills to change lives, we are also committed to producing entrepreneurs that will enable our Government achieve its Big Four Agenda, Third Medium Term Plan Goals, and Kenya Vision 2030.
